Another exciting day at the Sloan Sports Analytics Conference in Boston! I'd also like to say Happy International Women’s Day. We’ve come a long way! Today I had the opportunity to speak on a panel with two amazing men in the world of football: Scott Pioli and Kevin Demoff. We talked about “The New Age NFL Front Office" and did a deep dive on how decision making has been done historically for GM’s and coaches - and how technology is changing the game. By leveraging data and analytics, technology can help the front office elevate their processes and path to finding the next edge. As part of this evolution, we also talked about the shift occurring when it comes to being comfortable with technology while humans have been driving the decision making for decades. We all agreed that it’s not about one or the other - it’s about bringing our best ideas forward to get the best outcomes in sports; whether it’s through human experience and/or with technology This is an area that I’m super passionate about as I’m working with my team at SumerSports to help solve problems for GM’s and coaches. My team’s job is to help them accomplish their best games and outcomes. Not to replace people…and to get them one step closer to a SuperBowl. When they win…we all win! For anyone looking to learn more about AI, data and analytics for improved decision making in sports - make sure to check out SumerSports.com #SSAC25? #AnalyticsInMotion

Super Bowl Monday! For the first time ever I’m at home reflecting on Super Bowl week instead of at work. Why you may ask? Since our company has decided to take Super Bowl Monday off. Football is the center of our world and while others say, it’s like our Super Bowl, the Super Bowl is our main event. Last week I had the privilege of attending Super Bowl’s radio row with the Sumer Team. I was joined by the Super Bowl seasoned Thomas Dimitroff and Lindsay Rhodes as well as our up and coming superstars Sammy B (Sam Bruchhaus) and Shawny (Shawn Syed). We were able to talk to players, coaches, agents, brand managers, handlers, you name it we found them, talked to them and learned from them. We got amazing feedback on our products and showcased the latest and greatest in football AI. We had so many interesting debates about who would win, who would be traded and who will be drafted when. With each discussion was a great opportunity to look at what did the data tell us as an alternative POV to the human opinion. Can we prove why this opinion makes sense? Or not? Can we watch why this happened and who really caused the final outcome? The technology we brought to the table changed the conversation in a way that was less biased by human opinion and more fair across the board. This is how technology can help football. I’m so excited to be part of it. Special thanks to Jon Lucero, Matt Stopsky and Derek Cuenca for making sure we got our SumerSports story out there. I forgot to mention, we’re hiring :) - https://lnkd.in/g2mZykt3

Exciting week leading up to Super Bowl LIX. The team here at SūmerSports spent the week breaking down the X’s and O’s with NFL royalty through our Consumer and B2B products in NOLA at Radio Row. It was great seeing such as positive response to our approach of marrying subjective data backed by over 500 years of NFL experience to objective analytics powered by AI/ML. We also debuted SūmerBrain, our NFL focused chat experience smarter than Perplexity, ChatGPT, Grok, and Google when it comes to football knowledge – our first offering in the consumer space.
