Sukup Manufacturing Co. is the world’s largest family-owned and operated manufacturer of grain storage, drying and handling equipment. The company is headquartered in America’s heartland - Sheffield, Iowa - and covers one million square feet of office, manufacturing and warehouse space. The company employs more than 600 people, making it one of the largest employers in North Central Iowa. Three generations of the family are active in the business. Sukup’s product line includes on-farm and commercial grain bins; portable, mixed-flow and tower dryers; centrifugal and axial fans and heaters; stirring machines; bin unloading equipment and bin floors and supports. Sukup also manufactures material handling equipment including bucket elevators, conveyors and support structures. Sukup has six distribution centers in the Midwest. Sukup products are sold throughout the U.S. and Canada, and in more than 80 other countries.

Team Sukup had a great time at the iJAG Statewide Conference in Ames, connecting with students and educators who are shaping the future workforce! We’re especially proud that Dylon Raley— Sukup night shift employee and iJAG member—stopped by our booth. Supporting programs like iJAG helps students gain real-world experience, and we’re excited to be part of it!

We had an amazing Engineering Day at Sukup! Local students got a hands-on look at the many areas of engineering and all the parts that come together to make Sukup equipment possible. We were also honored to have U.S. Representative Ashley Hinson stop! She took time to see what the students were learning, share some words of wisdom, and learn more about Sukup Manufacturing Co. Thanks to everyone who joined us for a day of learning and innovation!
