SuitUp increases college & career awareness for students in underserved areas through innovative business competitions

SuitUp is a 501c3 education non profit that increases career awareness for all students through innovative virtual and in person business competitions.? Through SuitUp, students experience solving a realistic corporate challenge, such as designing a new product for Nike or solving a community problem through Snapchat. They have the opportunity to interact with corporate volunteers who coach them on the marketing, financing, and strategy before helping them pitch to live judges. By the end of the experience, students can see the corporate world as part of “their world” and know that job titles, such as CEO, VP of Marketing, Business Development Manager, etc. are now in their grasp. You can take a look at it in action here: https://vimeo.com/428645541 Since our founding in 2014, SuitUp has hosted more than 600 business competitions for organizations like Uber, American Express, LinkedIn, NBC, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Coach, Snap Inc, and many others. We've organized events for more than 15,500 volunteers, impacting over 18,500 students.

Exciting times last week as Wunderkind’s WIIGs (our Employee Resource Groups) hosted SuitUp in our offices for the 3rd year in a row! ?? SuitUp Day has quickly become one of my favorite workdays each year. Seeing the energy, creativity, and enthusiasm of the young CEOs (students) as they tackle real-world case studies—developing unique marketing campaigns for Wunderkind clients—is truly inspiring. A huge thank you to all the students, Wunderkind volunteers, and the SuitUp Incorporated team for making this event so memorable! Shoutout to my fellow ServeKind leads Meagan Curran, Rachel Iliovici, Nicole Kreizel, and Jack Riker along with the other WIIGs who partnered to make this happen. Last week with Salesforce I had the chance to attend a SuitUp Incorporated event as a coach, by mentoring a group of teenagers from secondary school. The event's goal was to support the kids in creating a new product or service to solve a #climate problem their local community faces, all thanks to #AI. We rolled up our sleeves and prepared the idea, the main business plan and finalized a pitch which they presented as the final act of the event to a panel of judges. Seeing these young minds in action enriched me personally – I am very proud of my team which convinced the panel of judges with their pitch, won the Dublin competition, and will compete in the Europe semifinals. #Ohana #Salesforce #CommunitySupport #TogetherWeRise #OhanaInAction #SocialImpact

We were proud to host nearly 30 bright young adults from South Bend, IN for our 2nd SuitUp event! Each team was tasked with an exciting challenge ?? finding innovative ways for landowners to generate income from unused parking lots. ??
