We're back with another #sucareerchronicles spotlight on a Suffolk intern making an incredible impact on the environment! Emiliana Dioguardi is a current Environmental Studies major who recently worked with Speak for the Trees Boston as a Team Leader. We recently connected with Emiliana to learn more about her experience: "I found my position in the annual STEM & Health career fair at Suffolk. I met Josh, the education coordinator of the organization. I decided to reach out a few months later. He remembered me and decided to move forward with interviews! Working at Speak for the Trees was an amazing youth educational experience. Understanding how a nonprofit works and being able to give to the community was incredible. My best advice is to reach out. If you see an opportunity that you feel connected with, reach out to the organization and show your interest and motivation to be part of their work. For me, being proactive and putting yourself out is key to find great opportunities."

Kayla Moses is a current Suffolk University - College of Arts & Sciences Psychology major making an incredible impact with the MGH Institute of Health Professions Brain, Education & Mind (BEAM) Lab! We recently caught up with Kayla as she continues her experience, supported by our center's Phillips Family Internship Fund: "I found this position through the Career Center! They were posting about MGH Internships, and I was instantly drawn to the BEAM Lab. Even if you don’t enjoy research or are nervous about working in this field, it is so interesting! There’s so much more that I do in this internship that I wasn’t expecting, especially when I heard “Research Intern”. I perform cognitive assessments, interact with children, and even interact with some neuroscience aspects! Don’t limit your options!" #sucareerchronicles
