At 96 years old, Fred is the world's oldest person to embark on a SeaTREK underwater helmet dive... a record previously held by four 93-year-olds from around the world. Fred is an inspiration that you're never too old to try something new! Reflecting on his walk within the Heart of the Sea habitat at The Florida Aquarium, Fred shares: “It just seemed like it’d be a lot of fun to do, and I’m glad I did it. Celebrating our recent achievement at the Blooloop Festival of Innovation! We received 2nd place in the “Inclusion” category for the newest SeaTREK and SeaTREK Adapted program at SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. SeaTREK enables practically anyone the opportunity to breathe and walk underwater, while SeaTREK Adapted’s custom underwater wheelchair allows those with limited mobility to join their friends and family on the TREK. We’re incredibly grateful for this recognition and thrilled to continue making the underwater world accessible!
