Workplace giving can't be one-size-fits-all. There has to be room for each employee to show up as their full authentic selves. That's why we built the Impact Wallet into our employee giving experience. The wallet gives employees control over how and when they give. It's reshaping the whole workplace giving landscape. Curious what the future of employee giving looks like? Join Sam Caplan, Madison Silver, and Chris Battles on April 8 to learn more. Grab your spot: https://lnkd.in/gMpdHR3A

Everything has changed for government grantmakers. And it’s happened fast. Policy rollouts that once took months are now happening in a matter of hours. The National Grants Management Association had their 2025 conference this month, where government grantmakers came together to digest these rapid changes and make plans for the year ahead. Overall, people focused on doing what they can to strengthen their programs—bolstering their impact measurement and focusing on fraud prevention and security. The conference was a great reminder how important it is to regularly come together as a community. The grantmakers who showed up are incredibly committed, even as they face uncertainty. They’re stepping up to advocate for what they believe in. If you’d like to go deeper, Sam Caplan and Ian Witthoeft sit down together for an episode of Impact Audio to talk about what they saw and heard at NGMA 2025. Listen in: https://lnkd.in/gq929GQg

The partnership between the GE HealthCare Foundation and Lwala Community Alliance is already making an impact on maternal health in Kenya. A big reason is the focus on trust. Lwala aims to build trust within the community. And the Foundation trusts Lwala, one of its first grantees, to lead the way. Abigail Epane-Osuala, MBA, president of the GE Healthcare Foundation, and Ash Rogers, co-CEO of Lwala Community Alliance, joined Sam Caplan on Impact Audio to talk about how this partnership came to be. We've spent the last few days in DC at the National Grants Management Association conference. It's been such an amazing event. We're inspired by the generosity and grit of all the people showing up to do this work in this moment. A big thank you to everyone who helped bring us all together.

I’m spending the week with 1900 government #grants professionals at the National Grants Management Association conference in DC. Everyone is putting on a brave face but this is clearly an existential moment. Let’s not forget about government grants managers and the chaos they are dealing with. Thankfully a fantastic set of presenters like Matthew Hanson, CGMS, GPC and Stacie Massey, MBA, CGFM are sharing some practical advice on how to move forward into the new normal. Some of what I’ve already heard: ?? When in doubt refer to Uniform Guidance 2 CFR 200 ??It’s more important than ever to capture the impact that grants and programs are making. How many lives are changed, and how? This is critical data when fighting for your programs. ?? Expect more formulaic and block grants from the federal government to pass through to states. This will change grantmaking processes. ?? Compliance and reporting are more critical than ever ?? When grants or programs are cut, it’s often the ones who scream the loudest that get them reinstated. Now is the time to be an advocate for your programs, grants, and yourself. #AGT2025
