Damage to the great (big) toe joint is a problem that persists in many adults. Pain from walking or standing can be excruciating. The technical term for this damage is Hallux Rigidus and has limited surgical options that will repair the damage to this joint and still allow this joint to return to full activity. The most common surgical approach is to fuse toe using plates and screws the eliminates the toe from flexing naturally and locks it into place permanently. The S-Core? procedure can reduce the pain almost immediately while allowing the joint to function normally. https://lnkd.in/gAqQwehK
