I recently had the opportunity to assist with the shoot for the 2025 Subaru Ascent Bronze Edition, featuring Union player Andre Blake at the Philadelphia Union stadium. This experience was invaluable, providing hands-on insight into the behind-the-scenes logistics of a professional production. I learned how to manage unexpected challenges (like when the rain decided to join us!), navigate fast-paced environments, and collaborate with diverse teams to bring a brand's vision to life. Building on the stadium’s zero landfill achievement in partnership with?Subaru of America,?we’re reducing waste and enhancing the fan experience with innovative solutions like compostable products, one-at-a-time dispensers, and FSC-certified materials. ? Over?1.5 million pounds of waste have been diverted from landfills since 2021, helping Subaru Park earn the title of MLS’s first zero-landfill stadium. ? “As a community-driven club, we are dedicated to giving back to our fans, neighbors, and environment,” says Philadelphia Union President Tim McDermott. “Thanks to partners like Tork, we’re making a meaningful difference.” Every step we take toward sustainability contributes to a cleaner, greener future for our community and the world. Fifteen volunteers from our SARGE ERG volunteered to clear the overgrown vegetation at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Philadelphia. While not a designated burial ground exclusively for veterans, Mt. Moriah serves as the final resting place for veterans from every major conflict from the Revolutionary War to Desert Storm. For the third year, The volunteers assisted in hand-clearing nearly one-fourth acre of heavy brush. Over 35 pups attended and received treats, toys, and countless belly rubs from their owners' Subaru colleagues.
