We take on complex and challenging projects every day for our customers and were honored to see three of our projects recognized by Engineering News-Record in 2024. We provided extensive electrical construction services to Denver Water’s Northwater Treatment Plant which earned Best Project in the water/environment category from ENR Mountain States in 2024. Our transportation group executed the electrical services for the I-25 South Gap project, an 18-mile, four-lane highway upgrade project. The third recognized project our teams worked on was constructing the power and lighting for the East Link Extension for Sound Transit in Washington State. Starting out a career in construction looks different for everyone. For Sturgeon Electric assistant project manager Monique, it was building sheds in a construction class when she was 16 years old. Now, she finds herself making a difference and having influence on her job sites, leading with a strong emphasis on teamwork and camaraderie. “I was fortunate enough to voice what I wanted to do with my future,” Monique said, “And I had support throughout my company and everyone I work with to help push me into those positions or support me and give me advice.” Monique’s journey is a testament to the power of ??????????????, ????????????????????????, ?????? ?????????????? in the construction industry.
