We are thrilled to announce our official partnership with the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, as unveiled at their Economic Club luncheon today! This collaboration will enable us to connect hundreds of Greater Lansing businesses, struggling with labor shortages and short-term needs, with reliable, trustworthy, and talented college students as quickly as calling an Uber! The announcement was made even more special by Michigan State University President Kevin Guskiewicz, who was the keynote speaker. He spoke about his efforts to strengthen the ties between MSU and the Greater Lansing region, promoting greater business engagement with the university and its students. This aligns perfectly with Stunio’s mission to provide flexible opportunities for businesses to hire students for surge and general staffing needs. We've seen the incredible impact already our company has been able to have on the region's largest businesses and students, and I'm excited about the prospect of working with President Guskiewicz to further enhance connections between MSU and the Greater Lansing community through Stunio. Exciting Expansion in West Michigan! Stunio is thrilled to announce our new partnership with HexArmor, marking our first large collaboration in West Michigan! Special thanks to Troy Farley and Brian Monette for facilitating this incredible opportunity with one of the region's top manufacturing companies. Brian shared a remarkable story from 2020 that perfectly illustrates what we're achieving at Stunio. During the pandemic, HexArmor rapidly organized face shield production, engaging not only regular temp service workers but also students from Grand Valley. The students outperformed everyone, delivering higher quality work with remarkable efficiency and punctuality. But, this gig project didn't just fill a temporary need—multiple of the students who worked on the project, not knowing of HexArmor before the project, now work full-time at the company. The short-term gig-work helped lead both the company and the students into a longer term engagement that kept students in that community and working for an incredible local company. This story underscores a wider issue: student job dissatisfaction is on the rise nationwide, exacerbated by economic pressures and insufficient real-world job experiences during college. It's an honor to support our hometown's beloved minor league baseball team throughout the upcoming season. ???? To mark the beginning of this incredible collaboration, the Lansing Lugnuts have entrusted us with nearly 400 hours of work this week alone, tasking us with getting the stadium ready for the season ahead. As we embark on this venture, we're eager to discover the most effective ways to assist stadiums and similar venues. After five months of diligent collaboration and planning, we've forged an incredible partnership with this amazing community, and we couldn't be more excited to get started on helping their residents on a daily basis. This thriving partnership with Burcham Hills can be traced back to two remarkable individuals who were among the very first to believe in UniServices back in 2021—Eileen and Joanne. They welcomed me into their homes, trusting our fledgling student service group with their daily and weekly needs, laying the foundation for everything that UniServices, and now Stunio, have become. It's their move to Burcham Hills that bridged us to this amazing community. Today, as I listened to their heartfelt testimonies, I was reminded that at its core, ours is a business about people, relationships, and trust. Eileen and Joanne’s support has been pivotal—this journey is as much theirs as it is ours. Now, it's our turn to extend this service to all the neighbors at Burcham Hills, bringing the same reliable, eager, and skilled student helpers that made a difference in their lives.
