Thank you Dustyn Roberts PE, PhD and everyone at University of Pennsylvania that made this program possible! International education benefits EVERYONE, and this feedback is exactly why we do what we do at SAA! ?? ?? ?? #studyabroad #internationaleducation #netherlands
This class. These students. I can't even. This is my second time teaching MEAM 2301 Bicycles: The Mechanical Advantage, and the first time it ran as a Penn Global Seminars class. It took a village to put this program together and I'm so thankful for everyone that participated in all the phases: Kevin Turner, my department chair in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics, University of Pennsylvania, for supporting the creation of a new technical elective targeted at 1st and 2nd year students Arielle Schweber from Penn Global for all the support in putting the itinerary together and making the connection with Study Abroad Association (SAA) and all the work that went on behind the scenes to get this program off the ground Erin Feeney from Penn Global for traveling with us and making sure everyone was accounted for (and for being my dinner buddy!) Tamara Animobono and Nadia from SAA for helping us execute a fantastic itinerary, and our in-country guide Guido for door-to-door service every day, everywhere Meredith Glaser (Urban Cycling Institute), Jeremy Faludi, Jason K. Moore, Mobycon for fantastic activities, tours, presentations, discussions, and sharing your time and passions with us I can't wait to run this class again (and again, and again...). Until next time!
