STUDIOS is an international design practice. We work with our clients to create built environments that express the essence of their organizations. For each project, we seek to create a great experience in a way that is both pragmatic and inspiring. Our practice is led by 25 principals and is managed in a non-hierarchical way that calls for the highest level of contribution from each of over 300 staff members. We have studios in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Washington, DC, Paris, and Lyon. Designers are highly collaborative, and strive to continually advance their technical knowledge and expertise; this has resulted in a practice that capitalizes on the collective intelligence of all individuals and studios.

Working with our client, the building’s landlord MRP , and our consultant team, STUDIOS designed the new offices for the Institute of International Finance, realizing a #workplace that is not only light-filled and #sustainable, but also an inspiring destination where staff and their partners do their best work in a variety of environments.

Bring Arcane to life in Los Angeles? Don't mind if we do. This partnership with Riot Games and Swinerton resulted in an immersive workspace unlike any other. Rioters move through the vertical campus from the gritty underbelly of Zaun at the entry, to the glittering heights of Piltover with communal spaces on the eighth floor. From custom workstations to a game-room specially designed for 5v5?MOBA combat, this office encourages the comradery, creativity, and collaboration Riot Games is known for. #architecture #design #arcane #riotgames
Enter through Silco’s hideout in the depths of Zaun, climb through the undercity past dedicated VO and sound recording rooms, grab a drink (coffee) at The Last Drop, and emerge in Piltover just in time to have a bite at the Mainspring Crescent Cafe before logging in for an ARAM at the Hextech Game Room. This office is Arcane from top to bottom as a reminder of the work it takes to make something worthy of players' time and how rich storytelling can literally bring our games to life.

At STUDIOS, we love working with mission-driven clients like WETA. We recently helped consolidate their Shirlington, VA headquarters, transforming it into a streamlined hub for television and radio production, newsroom, and office spaces. This project optimized both public and staff spaces—including a new lobby, screening room, and roof terrace—while a prominent digital display connects WETA with the Shirlington community. Completed in August 2023, WETA’s new HQ now fully supports their vital mission to bring impactful stories to life.

Honoring our veterans this Veterans Day, we are grateful to have?contributed to the mission of the United Service Organizations (USO) through the design of two family centers at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir. As part of a collaboration with longtime partner The Durst Organization, STUDIOS redefined the 12th-floor amenity space at 825 Third Avenue, establishing an elevated destination and providing equal tenant access to the building’s terrace. Branded Well& by Durst, the space acts as a true “third place,”. With a focus on lifestyle and modern aesthetics, the renovation of 825 Third Avenue sets a new standard for commercial real estate on Third Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.
