? Studio71 Spotlight: Matt Brannen, VP of Music and Creator Partnerships ? As the VP of Music and Creator Partnerships, Matt leads the company’s music division. Under his guidance, the division offers a range of services including asset management, copyright protection, distribution, sync licensing and digital marketing support. Matt's focus is on cultivating strategic relationships with music artists, labels, and industry stakeholders, unlocking revenue growth and new business opportunities. He also manages a team of talented music partnership managers, helping them scale our talent and maximize their impact across digital platforms! Matt’s journey at #Studio71 began in 2014 as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, expanding his role over the years to include talent management, social media optimization, and music rights management. He has since held leadership roles in channel services and creator partnerships, developing skills in both the digital creator and music spaces. In his current role, he focuses on driving strategic growth across the entire music network, finding opportunities that deliver lasting value for artists and their careers. “My goal is to make impactful moves that elevate the network as a whole and maximize our collective success.” A standout moment in his career was helping client JustAcoustic earn a platinum record and Billboard #1 single! He played a key role in securing the songwriter credit on Ariana Grande’s Positions, which made history as the first song to debut at #1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. "Looking back on the years of hard work that led to that achievement, it was an incredibly rewarding milestone." For Matt, the most rewarding part of his job is a tie between working with a team and artists who inspire him to aim higher, and simply seeing results: “Seeing the hard work pay off and the positive impact it has on artists, their fans, and Studio71 as a whole is incredibly fulfilling. It’s a privilege to have a front-row seat to the tangible impact we make on our artists’ careers.” We’re so proud to celebrate Matt’s accomplishments and 10-year anniversary here at Studio71, and invite you to join us!
