Did you know Lauren Stern will be in attendance at this year's ISA International Sign Expo conference in Las Vegas representing Studio 618?!? She will be bringing swaggie baggies with her and sporting an awesome "Signs Have Much to Say" tote similar to the one in this post to carry them in. So come say hi and grab your swaggie baggies full of #sign character stickers, #brand stickers, a business card, and a flyer about our scope of services and unique #environmentalgraphics projects. A unit #sign can make a big difference and are the first thing that we design for our #sign projects... The #signage family for this #multifamily project that our #egd consultancy Studio 618 designed was inspired by the industrial side of the refurbished textile mill. The signs are a mix of acrylic and corrugated metal laminate. The #signs compliment the beautiful interior design throughout the building and the architectural details throughout the property. *Project: Spinning Mill Lofts *Location: Clayton, NC *Client: Yellow Duck Marketing and Taft Development Group *Interior Design: SouthPark Interiors *Photos: Megan Morales *Fabrication: Wood Graphics Looking forward to sharing more #signage and #wayfinding from this project soon. Make sure that you follow #studio618 so you never miss an #experientialdesign project post.

Another amazing opportunity to write about one of our all-time favorite projects! Make sure you check out GRAPHICS PRO Magazine (March edition) to read our latest article about our unique fiber art focal wall. Follow #studio618 so you never miss a post!
We love sharing our work and talking about the design process that went into it. Check out Lauren Stern's most recent article about the #fiberart focal wall that she wrote all about the custom #weaving that she designed at Studio 618 for Spinning Mill Lofts, which is a refurbished textile mill that turned into a #multifamily community. Taft Development Group was excited to have a unique #art piece that tied the textile history of the building and told a unique story. The article discusses the benefits of focal walls and #environmentalgraphics, blending in #branding with art by taking Yellow Duck Marketing's logo and creating an art piece out of it, and tying it all together with SouthPark Interiors's #interiordesign. Lauren also went into how the idea came together, the design process behind it, why prototyping is important, and her "eureka moment" for this project, and more. Shout out to Megan Morales for the great photography and SignArt for fabricating the loom and letters and installing the finished piece. Check out the article written in GRAPHICS PRO Magazine and share it with others who value intentional #experientialdesign and unique #artwork that sets them apart from their competitors. This project was a dream come true to work on. Never did we think we would get the opportunity to combine our love for fiber art with #signage. If you are interested in a custom art piece that will tell a story and set your space apart from your competitors, please reach out and let's chat! We love creating #fiberart. Whether it is for a commercial client like Taft Development Group for a beautiful refurbished textile mill that turned into a #multifamily community in Clayton, NC or for people all over the country to put into their homes to enjoy. This was such a fun #art piece to work on! We loved everything about the creative process for this project. It was challenging but so rewarding. Yellow Duck Marketing did a great job with the #branding and SouthPark Interiors made our job so much easier by creating a gorgeous space with #interiordesign! Thanks Megan Morales for the beautiful photos and to SignArt for fabricating and installing the #signage and loom for us! Looking forward to sharing more from this project and other #experientialdesign projects soon. Follow #studio618 to see more. *** Check out our most recent article in GRAPHICS PRO Magazine all about this amazing project! Link down below...

110 East Blvd - Charlotte (a Stiles property) was one of our favorite projects at Studio 618. Here is a fun photo showcasing part of the 3,500+ square foot #mural we designed for that project. Thanks to Tech Painting Co Inc for bringing this project to life and to Megan Morales for capturing it. More to come soon showing the entire wall and #parkinggarage designs. A lot of projects have been completed in the past few months and there are many more photos to come from all of them soon. Make sure that you follow #studio618 so you never miss an #experientialdesign post.
