Our studio adopted the term Troika for its symbol of teamwork — something we feel to be essential in the design and construction of architecture. The building profession brings together a remarkably varied group of individuals. We are thrilled to announce that @fixt_dental’s state-of-the-art cosmetic dental practice is expanding their ‘laboratoire’ - or, as we like to call it, the ‘bat cave’. @fixt_laboratoire will be a collaborative environment that fosters a constant flow of ideas, featuring a dedicated technology space for CAD and media production, a ‘camp’ area featuring state of the art 3D fabrication and a specialized ceramist area to complete the process. Located in Norwood, MA this 180,000 sf, ground-up three skating rink facility was built for The Skating Club of Boston, a 100+ year old, globally-recongized figure skating group. This rink consists of a 2,500 seat, Olympic-sized main sheet used to host various events ranging from Olympic qualifying, ISU, and theatrical ice shows. Lindsey Marshall DMD strives to provide modern dental care without the feeling of discomfort or stress. We were able to achieve the client's goal of creating a more welcoming and relaxing space by removing the physical separation between the waiting area and treatment rooms. Frosted glass doors allow natural lighting to fill interior rooms, bringing an added layer of warmth to the soft finishes throughout. #dental // #interiordesign // #architecture
