Jesus is originally from Mexico and has had the opportunity to live in several cities across the U.S., including Sacramento, San Jose, Beaumont, and for the past nine years, Houston. He received his Bachelors of Architecture from UH. When Jesus isn't at work, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing pickleball, and enjoying the park with his 3 dogs. Kingsland Baptist Church is growing! Studio Red has partnered with Kingsland to design a new Worship Center on their Central Campus. The project includes a 28,000 SF addition with a worship space that seats 1,800 allowing the consolidation of two services currently worshiping in separate venues. Zush grew up in Philly and spent several years backpacking internationally before moving to Houston where he received his Bachelors of Architecture from UH. Zush began his career as an intern at SRA and brings experience in entrepreneurship and product design to the team. Studio Red is happy to be involved in the master plan and design of the Great Oak School in Tomball, Texas. Nestled in a 10-acre woods, these six round houses will be the first buildings on their new campus. Designed for their early childhood program, each classroom building opens to the playground and woods to facilitate outdoor play in nature, a fundamental aspect of their curriculum. The unique structures are shop-built and assembled on site, eliminating some of the challenges of building wood buildings being exposed to the elements.
