We are so very proud of our fearless leader Geneva Kowalski, who graduated from the Denver International Airport - City & County of Denver Dept of Aviation Business Development Training Academy 200 yesterday. BDTA exists to supports small businesses at DEN by providing trainings and a systematic approach to providing services such as architecture, construction and concessions services at DEN. The three primary goals of the Training Academy are to create, educate and cultivate an environment where small businesses can grow and connect with other businesses and industry groups. Geneva learned a lot during the program and as a WBE certified firm, SK2 is excited to support DEN and partner with other firms working at the airport. Late last month, Studio K2 Architecture attending the official groundbreaking for The Crossing, a new housing development serving Buena Vista that will include 50% of phase one as affordable housing. The one-of-a-kind ceremony included various members of the project team who introduced the new street names for the development. Our own Geneva Kowalski introduced Enderline Avenue, developer Paul Andrews' "favorite" street name, which is named after the Enderlines. The new Studio K2 Architecture -designed High Plainz Strains Drive-Thru Dispensary is now open in Fort Lupton! Built by Sunrise Construction Inc, this project involved the demolition of a former mechanic's shop and a new build of approximately 8000 square feet, including four drive-thru lanes in addition to a traditional in-person cannabis retail experience.
