Studio Intrigue Architects would like to congratulate GA Hunt Excavating & Septic on their new 5,800 square foot treatment facility in St. Johns. Construction started back in early March of 2023 and wrapped up in early January 2024. The building includes office and waste treatment areas. Construction was completed by?Laux Construction LLC.

For the past year, Studio Intrigue Architects has been completing a host of projects at the Coggon Historic Hall on Main Street in Coggon, Iowa. Constructed in 1893 as Mason's Hall on the second floor and "five & dime" on the main floor, it remained an active building through the 1980's and into the early 1990's when the Coggon Historical Society took ownership of the building. Flash forward 30 years and through a generous donation, the hall was restored and modernized. Studio Intrigue designed a new ADA restroom, structural framing, new electrical service, plumbing, restored remnants of the original stamped tin ceiling and incorporated a new floating ceiling to help dampen sound. We are grateful to help accomplish goals of the Historic Society and Memorial Foundation to reinvigorate Main Street Coggon and utilize the restored building for events.
For over 20 years, Studio Intrigue’s Architects and Designers have worked hard to keep our clients up to date on the latest design trends that will help them to grow and evolve in their current or new space. As we reflect on our years serving others, we felt that it was time to evolve ourselves. This past year we adopted a new logo that reflects our path forward. A design that is cleaner, brighter, and still captures the unique energy that many have come to know and love us for. Looking ahead to the new year, we hope you see more of our brand evolution with the launch of our new website coming soon in 2024!
