Winning Vingette: StudioDecorate!!!!! I cannot express how excited, grateful, and honored I am to have won my first *official* award since I started Studio Decorate! The 'Have A Seat' competition is the brainchild of the extremely creative Samantha Smith, and was a fabulous and fun way to engage the design community for DesignPhiladelphia. I got to design and build an environment around the gorgeous (and very comfortable) Striad chair. I can't thank the MillerKnoll Philly team enough for their time, dedication & commitment to our local design community. So excited to post a few professional #beforeandafter pics of nineNORTH's absolutely gorgeous store! It was an honor to work on this space. As you can see from the pics, we had our work cut out for us. The space needed a serious facelift: paint, lighting, custom millwork, floors refinished, custom signage and artwork... and the timeline was basically 2 months start to finish! We nailed the timeline and created an iconic, aesthetically pleasing and functional boutique! The space needed to feel elevated and distinct while being timeless.
