Excited to share the final photos of our App State Post Office Renovation Project! Design for the new Campus Post Office creates a more relevant and useful campus destination for the App State community of students, faculty, and staff. We focused on creating a welcoming experience uniquely branded to the App State Mountaineer spirit and embracing the latest postal service technology. The new Postal Lobby and Student Mail Room is a destination experience more akin to a student lounge than a traditional Post Office. A few of our studies for museum gallery typologies and visitor flow to show overall spatial configurations and layouts used in galleries to guide visitor movement and experience. Glad to work with Appalachian State University on this important project!
This is a project we've been talking about for more than five years. We are excited see our newly renovated Appalachian State University post office reopen later this summer with all of the latest and greatest technology and design. Thanks Foad Faizi, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP and Kenneth Luker, FAIA with Studio Archibene for designing a space that is student friendly, contemporary and celebrates our University.
