A few weeks ago while in West Plains, MO conducting a monthly construction inspection on behalf of MHDC, we decided to swing by an old project. Shoe Factory Commons, now known as The Grizzly Lofts, was completed?in 2012 while I was employed with a previous firm. The 1940s former International Shoe Factory was converted into 73 residential units providing 277 beds for students attending Missouri State University's West Plans campus.
