Project Overview SFO is reconstructing the space between Terminal 2 (T2) and Terminal 3 (T3), delivering: ·??????A new post-security connector ·??????A 6-story office building ·??????Emergency systems and baggage handling updates ·??????Special systems and infrastructure upgrades for critical airport facilities Studio 151’s Role As the Special Systems Manager, Studio 151 was contracted to provide Project Management Support Services (PMSS), overseeing the Design Builder team and coordinating with airport stakeholders. Led by Eric Wennstrom, Principal, our team played a key role in: ·??????Security and special systems programming, design, and construction ·??????Provisioning and activation of airport security operations ·??????Supporting Aviation Security Management (AvSec) with transition planning and execution A Record of Excellence One of the project’s biggest milestones was the smooth cutover of critical emergency response systems in September 2019—a transition that an e911 vendor described as “the smoothest cutover they have ever had.” Our expertise ensured the seamless migration of: ·??????Next Gen911 & AT&T Vesta System ·??????Motorola Call Log/Radio headend ·???????PSAP & legacy 911 trunks ·??????48 unique emergency responder systems ·??????METS & Paging infrastructure With zero disruptions to airport operations, this project highlights Studio 151’s ability to modernize mission-critical systems while ensuring operational continuity.
