ONE NINE ARCHITECTURE

Last Friday I had the privilege of participating in Mesrobian Armenian Schools career fair for their 6th - 12th graders. Growing up I never knew of anyone that was an Architect or Interior Designer and especially not one in our Armenian community. My hope was to share a quick glance at what those careers are like, show that with hard work anyone can do it, and encourage these kids to follow their passion. It is amazing to see all this school is doing to set each student up for success. I am so proud to be Armenian and thankful I could step away to participate in this amazing event. It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of our colleague and friend Betty Nguyen. We are so thankful for all that she contributed to our company and forever grateful for the role she played in the shaping of the leadership team at ONE NINE. Betty spent many years working alongside our myself, our Managing Principal, and Design Principal prior to our formation in 2018, she will be missed. She was an amazing mentor, designer, and all around talent that we will not be able to replace. Betty was a loving mother to two beautiful kids, wife, baker, and friend. She was giving, loved deeply, and always put others before herself. She battled hard for each day after her cancer diagnosis and did all she could to extend her life for her kids and husband.
