To be a clear and confident pro Israel voice on college campuses & to support students in grassroots pro Israel advocacy

关于我们

Students Supporting Israel is a Pro-Israel international campus movement that supports the Jewish Democratic State of Israel. Our mission is to create a clear and confident Pro-Israel voice on college campuses, and to support students in grassroots Pro-Israel advocacy. We want to provide students on college campuses and universities with the opportunity to support the position of Israel in the Middle East, and to reassure students who opposed the demonization of the state of Israel on campus that they are not alone. We are changing the anti-Israel climate many students encounter on campus. By being part of a strong and thriving national movement, students are empowered to express their views in support of Israel. Students Supporting Israel is committed to promoting a better understanding of Israel throughout North America as a member of the family of nations, with a fundamental right to exist within secure and recognize borders. We believe familiarizing students with current events and Israeli culture, and providing access to knowledge of Israel’s history and its day to day reality will promote a better understanding of the State of Israel.

  • Jewish Names on Buildings, Hate within the Walls, Ilan Sinelnikov It is time for a?strategic shift. Instead of pouring millions into buildings that?become platforms for indoctrination, Jewish donors must?invest in the students who are fighting back. Organizations like?Students Supporting Israel (SSI)are on the ground, ensuring that?Jewish and pro-Israel students are not left defenseless in an increasingly hostile environment. Other?Jewish organizations?provide students with a sense of home, but we must go even further—not just supporting students but reclaiming the classrooms themselves.

  • SSI Commends Former US Envoy Deborah Lipstadt and Columbia Prof. Avi Friedman for Their Integrity in Exposing Antisemitic Universities The Students Supporting Israel (SSI) movement extends its profound gratitude to Deborah Lipstadt and Avi Friedman for their principled stance against antisemitism in academia. Their courageous decisions to reject employment options at universities that fail to confront antisemitism are a testament to their integrity. By publicly announcing the motivation behind their decisions, they have exposed the systematic shortcomings of these institutions, holding them accountable for neglecting the needs of Jewish, Zionist, and pro-Israel students. SSI activists are inspired by Lipstadt and Prof. Friedman unwaveringly speaking the truth without reservation, reinforcing the same spirit as SSI’s own mission to be a clear and confident pro-Israel voice on college campuses and to support students in grassroots pro-Israel advocacy. • ?? Happy 13th Birthday, Students Supporting Israel! ???? Today, we celebrate 13 years since Students Supporting Israel (SSI) was founded on March 12, 2012, at the University of Minnesota in response to Israel Apartheid Week. What started as a grassroots effort to create a confident and unapologetic pro-Israel voice on campus has grown into a global movement, spanning over 150 campuses in 8 countries, engaging thousands of students, and building a strong network of over 1,500 alumni. The October 7th war on Israel only reinforced why the movement we have built for years was so desperately needed. When the war began, our students did not retreat to safe spaces or claim to feel unsafe—they took to their campus grounds as they were trained to do. They stood up and fought back, refusing to let propaganda, intimidation, and hostility take over our campuses without going unchallenged. Over the years, SSI has been more than just a student organization—we have been a launchpad for leaders. Our alumni have gone on to serve in the IDF, work for pro-Israel and Jewish organizations, and lead the next generation of the Zionist movement. From receiving national awards and recognition by Israeli consulates and embassies, to launching groundbreaking initiatives like Palestinian Apartheid Week, SSI has been the sole student movement with boots on the ground, leading the charge for Israel advocacy worldwide with operations in the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland, Poland, Australia and New Zealand. As we mark this milestone, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to our students, alumni, supporters, community members and partner organizations. Your dedication, passion, and belief in our mission have made this journey possible. Together, we are shaping the future of Zionist leadership. Here’s to many more years of impact, growth, and unwavering support for Israel! ?????? Students Supporting Israel. Pro-Israel. Grassroots. Movement. Mazal tov to SSI and our entire ever-growing family!

It’s an incredible privilege to serve on the board of directors of Students Supporting Israel (SSI) where I have the opportunity to engage with the next generation of Zionist leaders from around the world. Connecting with passionate, driven students who are committed to our shared values and actively shaping the future of for all Jews is truly inspiring. I’m grateful to play a small role in their journey, supporting their efforts to build pro-Israel SSI Chapters on their campus, drive meaningful conversations, fight anti-Israel propaganda, and make a lasting impact. The energy, dedication, and enthusiasm they bring on their college campuses- especially after October 7th - remind me every day of why I do what I do.

  • "I stepped forward and opened a chapter." @talrabani SSI Movement Activist of the Year 2024. In the summer of 2024, Tal Rabani was in the middle of his semester at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Monash has a lot to offer its students, but it lacked an Israel club. Prior to returning to Monash, Tal had studied at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he was an active member of the local SSI chapter, which had been crowned Chapter of the Year. After some back and forth, Tal made the call to establish SSI on his campus. Twelve years after the first chapter was founded in Minnesota, the SSI mission and vision had traveled across the world. Following the successful establishment of SSI at Monash, a second and third SSI club were launched in Australia, and a fourth club joined in New Zealand. Tal stepped forward as a pioneer in Australia, bringing SSI to a campus community that deeply needed it. Due to Tal’s incredible work, he was named SSI Movement Activist of the Year for 2024. Check out this inspiring message from Tal, and always remember: in challenging times, be the one to step forward and lead by example.
