This #WomensHistoryMonth, we’re celebrating The SAID Project, one of our incredible Girls'+ Education partners! The SAID Project is a nonprofit that brings performing arts resources & experiences to NYC public school students! Through workshops and panels with The SAID Project, students at The Young Women’s Leadership School (TYWLS) of Brooklyn have had the unique opportunity to learn all about the world of theatre! Last fall, they even attended a special event led by TV host Michael Strahan for actress Keke Palmer’s book launch at the iconic Apollo Theater in NYC, where they got the opportunity to meet Keke Palmer. Earlier this year, Student Leadership Network’s Directors of College Counseling (DCCs) hosted Alumni Day events, which allowed graduates to return to their alma mater and share valuable insights on transitioning to college and postsecondary life.???
