Congratilations to the winners as we wish them the best of luck for the International Student Paper Contest that will be held during The SPWLA 66th Annual Symposium, Dubai -May 17th - 21st, 2025. The SPWLA Student Chapter at UT Austin had an incredible opportunity to visit the Baker Hughes Technology and Education Centers! During the trip, we got a look at how logging is done, explored advanced tools, and even toured a rig. We also saw how Baker Hughes develops cutting-edge tools and technologies. We ended the day with an engaging and informative presentation from their geoscience team. A big thank you to Ali Eghbali for organizing and hosting this amazing event, and to Amer Hanif for his continuous support and help with coordination. Special thanks to Dr. Carlos Torres-Verdin and Zoya Heidari for their ongoing guidance, and to Dr. Matthew Balhoff and the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering for always encouraging these enriching and educational experiences.
