Jim recently learned how to use a Proceq 8100 multifrequency GPR. Maybe not "geophysics" but certainly "concretophysics." Nothing like sweeping the floor of a grocery store with electromagnetic waves.

Jim will be at the annual meeting of the Association of Engineering Geologists (AEG) in Philadelphia this week. He will be presenting a poster on a ground penetrating radar (GPR) Investigation of the former Fort Halifax, a historic archaeological site on the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania, coauthored with Dr. Jonathan Burns of Juniata College.
