What this unlocks: - Use legacy Matplotlib code in modern data apps - Render static or complex visualizations with full control - Great for notebooks and scientific analysis ported to apps Matplotlib is still the go-to for many scientists, researchers, and engineers. Developers can incrementally migrate existing scripts into interactive dashboards. I recently built and deployed an interactive COVID-19 analysis dashboard using Preswald, an open-source Python framework by Structured Labs — and it took just 20 minutes from start to finish! ?? App Highlights: Visualized global Active, Recovered, and Death case counts using an interactive treemap Displayed the top 15 countries by confirmed cases with a dynamic bar chart Included an interactive table of day-wise COVID-19 data Powered by Plotly for rich visualizations and Preswald’s pre-built UI components for seamless frontend integration — all with zero frontend code! ??
