Everything is Bigger in Texas: The Harbor Bridge Project As the saying goes, everything is bigger in Texas, and the Harbor Bridge project in Corpus Christi is no exception. This monumental endeavor is set to redefine the skyline and infrastructure of Corpus Christi, showcasing the true spirit of Texan ambition and innovation. B. G. Hasselle is proud to be a female Project Manager working for VSL Civil Construction on the Post Tensioning (PT) material supply portion of this project. One of the most impressive aspects is the sheer scale of materials involved. For instance, we're using a staggering 14,298,681 feet of 0.6” 7-wire tensile strand. To put that into perspective, that's enough to stretch from Corpus Christi all the way to Honolulu, Hawaii—over 2700 miles! This project isn't just about size; it's about making a lasting impact. The new Harbor Bridge will enhance connectivity, support economic growth, and stand as a testament to what we can achieve when we think big and work together.
