Structura’s renovation project for the Robin and Bud Shiver’s HAAM Headquarters transformed a 1980s office building into a modern, functional space for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). With a growing membership and increased demand for healthcare services, HAAM needed a space that could support primary and specialty care, dental, vision, hearing, and mental health services. The project team— Material Design Architects, Structura Inc., Ground & Garden, AYS Engineering, LLC, DCI Engineers, ERN AoR, and art advisor Monica Ceniceros—reimagined the outdated layout, modernized systems, and incorporated local artwork while prioritizing sustainability.
