You and your team are responsible for our customer experience from A to Z. Serving as brand ambassadors, project managers and coordinators all packaged in one, this role is fundamental to the growth of a thriving branch of an industry leader in the SIP’s (Structural Insulated Panel) market. Structall Building Systems has been serving the building supply market since 1987, differentiating itself from its competitors based on product quality, enhanced customer service and a robust in-house fleet line. We live to serve our entire installer base as a true “One-Stop-Shop!” Tasks will include but not be limited to: Serving as the brand ambassador for live customer traffic in the Oldsmar location as well as the primary information station for incoming general information calls on products, basic account management and logistics. Manage all of the Oldsmar based Customer Pick Up order administration partnering with the warehouse and accounting teams for a smooth customer experience. Administrative support for the Florida outside sales division; including but not limited to quote and order entry, troubleshooting and payment collection. Intake all inquiries for new accounts, including management of prospecting forms and coordination with field sales team to qualify the opportunity. We're #Hiring Production Superintendent in Oldsmar, FL Labor Resource Management. The manufacturing process we employ is not highly automated as such, labor is still the key component we use for both production efficiency and maintaining quality. Retention, training and recruiting the type of production employees we require is an ongoing challenge and perhaps the number one responsibility of the Production Superintendent. You will be teaming up with Human Resources on interview goals, weekly evaluations of progress and any new goal setting strategies. Overseeing our 5 Department Leads and their teams in Lamination, Metal, Foam, Debagging and Dock will be ongoing and everyday tasks. You will oversee approximately 30-35 employees: 25-30 on the Panel production side and 4-5 on the screen Door production side. Weekly meetings will be required with our Sales and Logistics team in order to assist with scheduling priorities for production while still maintaining our Sales goals as a Companywide team. The Panel Manufacturing Processes: While somewhat labor intensive, our manufacturing process benefits us with its relative simplicity. The basic processes involve; Receiving and processing expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) panel cores. Roll Forming wide width aluminum & steel coil. A lamination process utilizing a moisture cured urethane adhesives and vacuum pressure bags. Stretch wrap packaging and labeling of the finished panel products. The Production Superintendent is responsible to open and close the facility each day. Experience required: A minimum of 6 years of manufacturing production job experience with similar level of supervisory responsibilities. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, both to work in a smaller production environment, but also to deal with the other departments and branches within the company. A post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing is certainly a big plus, however the ability to manage people and build a well-oiled production team trumps any degree. It is critical the applicant has excellent computer skills. While the production line is labor intensive, we are computer dependent in all other aspects of our business. The panel production facility usually works 40-50 hours a week for one day shift, Monday through Friday. However, there can be with some half days on Saturdays when the volume dictates. At present we estimate an average weekly time commitment of 55 hours a week for management staff. There is a mid-shift responsible for facility closure after the production staff departs for the day.
