Empowering Our Community Through Advocacy: Support for AB2271 and St. Rose Hospital ?? ? ???? ???? Last Friday, we had the honor of standing alongside Senator Liz Ortega outside of St. Rose Hospital's doors. Together on that day, we united our voices in a powerful call for Governor Gavin Newsom to sign AB2271, a critical bill that would provide loan forgiveness to St. Rose and other hospitals that received these loans during the Covid-19 pandemic. As a standalone community hospital, St. Rose plays an essential role in serving the underprivileged population of Hayward and its surrounding areas. The passage of this bill means more than just financial relief - it will allow us to continue offering essential healthcare services to those who need it the most.
