Most of the time I find the Project Controls industry quite boring. That is not true right now. Here are three things that I find Interesting that you need to know about. 01 Miles Haynes has developed an app called Stride Schedule It has a Primavera P6 integration that allows expedited schedule updates from the field. Decreases and eliminates the needs for meetings and allows protection from data entry errors. The kind I commonly make. 02 Micah Piippo and his newsletter Beyond Deadlines. Industry news delivered to your inbox that gives you project controls resources that you need to know about. 03 Diane Bragoni, RA, PSP, PMI-SP, PMP she owns a CPM Schedule Solutions LLC that is focused on improving scheduling within federal construction schedules. Fun right? Well she makes it fun by building in public and sharing the challenges and the wins the team faces.

Update constructions schedules in minutes, not hours
关于我们
Update Schedules Quickly Stride saves the schedulers 3+ hours of manual entry on projects that update twice a month, saving over $300 per project per month. Shorten Meetings Stride dramatically reduces meeting times, letting teams focus on actual progress, not progress updates, saving over $1,000 per project every month. Prevent Costly Errors Stride makes it easy to spot conflicts in field updates, turns scribbled notes into clear text, and eliminates data entry errors. Reducing these risks saves you time and money.

What sets Stride Schedule apart from other scheduling tools? Here's a breakdown of what we are, and what we are not: We help you UPDATE & STATUS: ? The best in-field option to view the schedule. Offline, filterable, mobile ? Updates made will import straight to P6, no more PDFs ? Schedulers can filter by what has notes and what didn't get updated which curates the list to talk over in the update meeting What everyone else does that we don't do: ? Planning ? Running your schedule We aren't here to overhaul your CPM software of choice, or force all the subcontractors into a "collaborative" process and platform. You have P6, you know P6, and you don't want to train your teams on something new. We look like the PDF you already use, but you don't have to deal with the data entry that comes with a PDF. New feature being built to help schedule updates be even easier! We've had a lot of people ask to be able to slice up the field-view by either trade or responsible person. We will be supporting Activity Codes from the schedule so teams can further filter their schedule into these views. As always, whether coding is in place or not and two (or more) people make a conflicting update on an activity we will flag it for the scheduler to review. Thanks to great conversations with the following to bring about this feature: Proman, McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., Rimrock Construction, Michels Corporation, Overall Consulting, UCC Holding, Flournoy Construction Group, Hitachi Energy

We are excited to announce our beta-partnership with Okland Construction! We will be helping them make their #P6 schedule updates much faster for their field teams and schedulers. Engineering News-Record ranked Okland as a General Contractor for 2024: #4 in the Intermountain Region #8 in the Southwest #83 in the United States Big thanks to Lee P. & Lee Holland, CISSP

Senior Scheduler @ Okland & Co-Founder of Stride Schedule | Helping Superintendents and Schedulers have less data entry and faster update meetings
As a Scheduler in commercial construction I get to bounce to a different project every day - super fun! Some schedulers get the luxury of being on one project all day every day (if that project has lots and lots of ??), so they know exactly what is happening. I, like many, rely on the field teams to provide updates of what is happening while I can't be onsite. I have one relatively large project with 5 Superintendents right now. I love that team, we laugh often and they are doing a great job - BUT - our schedule updates take fooooorever. ???? We've tried having them all go into Bluebeam to put their notes on one PDF, but that didn't work for them well enough - so I'm stuck getting 5 different PDFs with notes and stitching them all together. I usually snapshot things I have questions on, put that all on one PDF of my own making, and go into the schedule update meeting and we start off by resolving those things. (even with putting in notes beforehand, for two hours, we still meet for 3-4 more hours!) This leads me to something I'm pretty excited about with Stride Schedule. After they all submit their notes (which Stride aggregates together) I, the scheduler, will be able to filter by only things with notes, or that they didn't update, and have a quick list to review. No more looking over 5 PDFs, no more making snapshots of my questions to take into the meeting. This is one of many, but what other features would help your schedule updates be faster? #Scheduler #Superintendent #Construction #PrimaveraP6
