The spirit to serve remains the company’s most enduring principle. We are proud to share that General Manager Satish Kumar has been awarded the Spirit to Serve Associates/Take Care Award 2023 at the APEC General Managers Conference in Bali. This recognition reflects the resort's consistent performance in the Associate Engagement Survey, highlighting our commitment to building a people-first culture. Over the past year, we’ve launched several initiatives to nurture talent within and beyond the company. 18 associates were sent on task force for international and national assignments, internal growth opportunities were facilitated, and the Marriott internship program was introduced. Career counseling sessions were also conducted for hotel management students from local colleges. Key initiatives focused on associate well-being and engagement, including the Gratitude Drive, revamping the Heart of the House with the renovation of the Associate Dining Area (Saal), and fostering open communication through programs like Afternoon Tea with the GM and Breakfast with Night Warriors. Additionally, the resort emphasizes Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and hosts regular engagement activities to ensure associates feel valued and empowered. A standout initiative is the One Day GM program, held quarterly, where a selected host shadows Mr. Satish, attends meetings and makes executive decisions. Participants from Culinary, F&B, and Sales & Marketing have gained invaluable mentorship experiences through this initiative. This recognition is a proud moment for the entire team, reaffirming that taking care of our associates is the key to our continued success.
