As we begin to anticipate the arrival of fall, let's not let August slip away without making the most of it! We kicked off the month by celebrating nine years of our "First Friday" gatherings, graciously hosted by our Chamber Champion, Great Lakes Honda. If you missed this event, don't worry—mark your calendars for our 10-year celebration on Friday, December 6th. Stay tuned for more details! In the spirit of celebrations, tomorrow we have the annual Metis Construction Patio Party, which is extra special this year as it marks their 15th anniversary in business. Join us in congratulating them and don't forget to bring school supplies for donation to Kent Social Services and Center of Hope Ravenna. As we head towards the end of the month, we are excited to partner with the Portage Development Board for a Local Government Breakfast. This event will provide a unique opportunity to hear from our elected officials and network with area business leaders. Finally, we’ll be wrapping up the month and kicking off the holiday weekend at the Kent State Hotel and Conference Center. Come mix and mingle with chamber members from Cuyahoga Falls, Kent, Stow Monroe Falls, and Streetsboro on the beautiful terrace overlooking the city.
