We often get the question, "What is your AI investment strategy?"?For us, it’s not about investing in AI because it’s everywhere and everyone else is doing it. It’s about making the right bets on AI. Some use cases are better than others; some market needs are proven, while others aren’t. Big news! We’re proud to announce our seed funding round of $5.3M led by Spark Capital and joined by Acrew Capital and TTV Capital, with participation from angel investors Sam Hodges, Chad Nitschke and Mike Rosengarten. This new infusion of capital, combined with our $1.5M pre-seed backing from Y Combinator, NevCaut Ventures, TTV Capital, and Jonathan Crystal, brings Stream’s total funding to $6.8M. We’re grateful for our investors’ continued support as we work to revolutionize the workers’ compensation industry. Stream is on a mission to help process workers’ compensation claims faster and more efficiently. 10 billion pages circulate in the industry each year, and 80% of an adjuster’s work day is spent reading files and writing summaries. We’re using AI to extract pertinent information, summarize medical records, and remove blank and redundant pages – saving our clients time, money, and resources. With this new capital, we’ll be expanding our product and customer success teams to ensure we deliver even more value to our customers.
