Jazz vocalist Christie Dashiell told NPR that the first place she felt like an artist was in the Mansion at Strathmore’s 100-seat music room during her 2016 release concert. Now, she’s celebrating her first Grammy nomination for her sophomore album, 'Journey in Black.'
