Don't get me wrong--there are many great GovCon websites and blogs out there, and I strongly encourage you to visit them regularly. (Particularly SmallGovCon, which I founded!) But if you're looking for the most comprehensive input on federal contracting, as far as I'm concerned, there's really nowhere better than right here on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is, of course, what you make of it, but it's the only place I know of where you can find regular GovCon updates from experts and advocates like Guy Timberlake, Dan Ramish, Stephen Bacon, Townsend Bourne, Lucas Hanback, Neil McDonnell, Michael LeJeune, Shane McCall, Michelle Gardner-Ince, Shauna Weatherly, Jacob Horne, Josh Duvall, Trevor Skelly, and Maggie Bullard-Marshall, just to name a very few. Veterans Day, observed annually on November 11th, honors military veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Originally known as Armistice Day, it commemorated the end of World War I, which officially concluded on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.
