? Good morning, from the “Gateway to the West,” and the 2024 ???????????????????? ???????????????? ?????? ???????? ?????? ???????????? (????????) ???????????????? ????????????????????, in the City of St. Louis! SGC’s Deputy Director of #Equity and Government Transformation, Hoi-Fei Mok will be representing California at GARE’s 2024 convening, ???????????? ????????: ?? ???????????????? ???????????????????? from Nov. 20-22. GARE is a peer-to-peer learning and practice network dedicated to advancing #RacialEquity in government - so we all thrive where we live, learn, work and play! ? This 2024 convening is being called the nation’s largest multiracial, intergenerational #RacialJustice conference of its kind and will provide spaces that serve as vital intersections where community organizers, activists, and movement makers converge to build power and strategies to advance racial justice. Throughout the conference Deputy Director Mok, will network and learn from partners from across the U.S. and have access to resources, information, and collaborative opportunities geared towards advancing racial equity for all. #FunFact – St. Louis was chosen for this year’s conference due to its history of serving as a critical juncture for both historical and contemporary racial justice movements. The city is known as the “Gateway to the West” because it was the starting point and traveling hub for the westward movement in the 1800s. This is where the Gateway Arch gets its name.? #facingrace #ourpoweroursolutions
