Congratulations to Lansing School District on the grand opening of their Newcomer Center! Congrats to Thomas More University on the recent opening of their new academic center, home to TMU's College of Business, Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the Center for Faith, Mission and Catholic Education. With a stunning four-story atrium, 320-seat auditorium, state-of-the-art classrooms, a finance lab, and a technology and prototyping lab, this building is designed to inspire innovation. Early collaboration is key to success! We worked closely with DTE Energy, Hamilton Anderson Associates, and the civil engineers to ensure existing utilities were robust enough to handle the infrastructure for The Preserve on Ash. With pad-on transformers on each site and careful load estimations, we've helped set the stage for a reliable and efficient power system for this new community. #MEPengineering

Big steps happening at Willow Elementary in the Lansing School District! #Geothermal drilling occurred last week for the new multi-building campus, part of the district's bond initiative to upgrade its schools. Opting for geothermal isn't just a smart choice for #sustainability; it's also a win for long-term efficiency. With support from the Inflation Reduction Act, the cost of this geothermal system will actually be less than a conventional HVAC system—and with the added benefit of payback over time.
