At this year’s Site Selectors Guild Fall Forum, I had the opportunity to talk with SDG client Eastman Chemical Company about their 2nd US molecular recycling facility.??Charley Poe and I discussed the importance of advanced recycling laws in creating a true circular economy and the company’s efforts to decarbonize their manufacturing process more fully to achieve sustainability goals.?Our conversation highlighted the key success criteria that SDG used to evaluate location options and focused on the elements that ultimately made Longview, Texas the right site for this project.
