The Department of Nuclear Engineering - University of Tennessee, Knoxville hosted its annual graduate student recruiting luncheon today in the Lauricella Center in Neyland Stadium. Tickle College of Engineering at the University of Tennessee Dean Matthew Mench and NE Head Brian Wirth addressed an outstanding group of corporate partners and prospective graduate students on the nuclear engineering opportunities throughout Tennessee. I enjoyed visiting with NE Associate Professor Khalid Hattar, ChemE alumnus Harold Conner,PhD,PE,CPEM,ASEM Fellow,AIChE from Strata-G, LLC, and NE alumni Loong Yong and Mike Dunn from Spectra Tech, Inc. InSPIRE is so pleased to be working with Elliott Barnett of Strata-G, LLC to optimize facility design for InSPIRE in City of Panama City, Florida. Recently, Strata-G team members Tim Hale and Richard Prosser attended the Tennessee Tech Engineering Career Fair, where they had the opportunity to connect with bright, emerging engineering professionals. Events like these allow us to engage with the next generation of talent, share insights about careers in environmental, engineering, and energy services, and discuss the many exciting opportunities available at Strata-G. Thank you to Tennessee Technological University for hosting such a great event—we look forward to continuing to support and inspire future engineers!

Recently, over 85 Strata-G employees and guests enjoyed a Knoxville Ice Bears Professional Hockey game together! Strata-G has supported the Ice Bears for nearly 15 years and it’s always a great time connecting with colleagues outside of work while cheering on our hometown team. Go Ice Bears!!
