Happy Nowruz🌱: The First Breath of Spring
Today, the earth takes its first deep breath of the year. The air is softer, the light stretches just a little longer, and life quietly begins again.
For us Persians, along with our Uzbek, Turk, Afghan, Tajik brothers and sisters, and many others, Nowruz isn’t just a date on the calendar—it’s a feeling. It’s the scent of hyacinths in the air, the warmth of freshly baked sweets, the laughter of families cleaning their homes not just of dust, but of old burdens. It is the moment you open your window and realize:
❄️ Winter is truly behind us.
But Nowruz is not just ours. It belongs to anyone who has ever longed for a fresh start. It is for those who have endured a hard season and are still standing. For those who believe that no matter how difficult the past year was, the future still holds space for joy, for growth, for second chances.
This first day of spring, I hope we all remember:
🪻 That change begins quietly, like the first bloom of a flower. So, wherever you are, whatever you have been carrying, this is your moment
To breathe again.
To start fresh.
Happy Nowruz 🌹—to those who celebrate, and to those who simply need a new beginning.
