During Carnival, Rio de Janeiro’s hotel industry reported its highest ADR and RevPAR levels so far this year, with occupancy averaging 84% during the nine-day event period. Other highlights for the market: ?? ADR on 3 March was the third-highest level on record, behind New Year’s Eve in 2024 and 2023, respectively. ?? RevPAR on 2 March was the second-highest level ever recorded, behind New Year’s Eve in 2024. ?? Rooms revenue for the event period exceeded US$82M, which is almost twice the revenue generated during Carnival 2024.
