The Leadership St. Pete Class of 2025 is making waves, diving deep into leadership and community impact! With a mix of engaging workshops and hands-on projects, these leaders are committed to creating positive change right here in St. Pete and beyond. ?? For their Community Project, they’ve teamed up with Infinite Potential Learning Academy (IPLA), a private school in South St. Pete that’s all about providing personalized education for young learners from age two to fifth grade. Their exciting project will revamp IPLA's outdoor area, featuring: ?? A new basketball court for active fun ?? A fresh playground to fuel creativity ?? A wellness space for fitness and relaxation ? A versatile sports field for all kinds of recreation The class can’t wait for their service day in May when these updates will come to life! Yesterday we hosted our first hospitality & tourism committee meeting of the year and it was a great kick off! Industry leaders and business owners gathered to discuss the upcoming hurricane season and how our hospitality/tourism community can better prepare and support each other this year. We also heard from Ahmad Yakzan, Esq. with American Dream Law, and Sarah Williams with SBW HR Consulting, who helped us break down the latest immigration policy changes and their impact on our workforce and businesses.
