Stout Collective

Honker's is a very special beer to me. It's a beer I drank (a lot of) when I first moved to Chicago 14 years ago, a beer I sold when I worked at a distributor 10 years ago, and a beer I was sad to say goodbye to 5 years ago. As far as I'm concerned, it's a foundational beer in the Chicago beer world, and in the craft beer world as a whole. It's certainly a foundational beer for me. So when the Goose Island team asked Stout Collective to help rethink Honker's packaging, I nearly fell out of my chair. And here we are, many months and many revisions later welcoming Honker's back into the world, this time with packaging design from our team. It's been a dream working with the folks at Goose, who are every bit as hard working, creative, and hilarious as you think they are. More so. Standard Goods exists because it ought to. After first “breaking ground” on this project back in late 2022, we’re thrilled to see?Standard Goods?officially launch last week! We worked with the?Pilot Project Brewing?team on naming, brand strategy, positioning, design, website, and content to get this new?#fridgebeer?staple out into the market.
