We love this advice from our partner Amy Zganjar on how nonprofits can navigate the uncertainty of this moment. Now is the time to act with urgency and a clear strategy. We're here to help. Learn more about how The Stott Group can help support you: https://lnkd.in/gCj4U4se
Experienced Non Profit Executive | Growth Strategist and Advocate Helping social sector leaders and organizations realize their visions for change.
I’ve spent the last month talking with partners across the nonprofit sector—many who rely on federal funding and others anticipating a rise in need for their services. Across the board, leaders are asking the same question: How do we navigate the uncertainty ahead? Nonprofits are facing disruptions and funding cuts that threaten their work and impact our nation’s most vulnerable families and communities. This moment is unprecedented, yet nonprofits are built for times like these—their mission and purpose are more vital and urgent than ever. Now is the time to act with urgency. As a mission-driven organization, take this opportunity to build community, deepen connections, and expand your network of supporters. ? Communicate well and often. This is not the time to be quiet. Even though your work may be shifting, it is important that your donors and community understand how you are responding to or navigating through uncertainty. Carve out time to make personal calls to board members, funders and stakeholders, to create opportunities for deep connection and dialogue. ? Strengthen your major gifts and individual giving strategies. A broad and engaged donor base creates stability when federal and institutional funding is in flux. Focus on articulating your mission and the impact of your work with your donors, refining your case for support, and ensuring an authentic and individualized donor experience. At The Stott Group, we’re standing with our client partners and leaders to prepare for what’s ahead—helping organizations navigate shifting landscapes and build sustainable fundraising strategies. Please reach out if we can support you–my inbox is open.

A heartfelt message from our founder, Amalia Stott, celebrating 10 remarkable years of The Stott Group. Her resilience, vision, and dedication to purpose and building community shapes our mission and inspires our work driving transformational change for our client partners. ??
Ten years ago, I took a leap of faith and founded The Stott Group—marking my first step into the world of entrepreneurship. This last decade has taught me resilience and reinforced my belief in the power of community. It’s shown me the importance of self-belief and the beauty of realizing a vision, even when the path forward isn’t always clear. It’s been a decade of: ? Challenges: Balancing the adventure of raising two young children with building a company from scratch is not an easy task. The constant juggling of priorities taught me to redefine success in ways that work for me, support my family, and inspire our team. ? Growth: Along the way, I’ve learned the complexities of building and maintaining a business–from HR compliance to cash flow management–all while striving to deliver excellence for our clients. ? Gratitude: I didn’t do this alone… I owe so much to: ? Our clients: For trusting me and The Stott Group. Your belief in our work has been the cornerstone of our success. ? My family: Your love and abundant patience have been an unwavering source of strength–GORDON STOTT ? Our team: Your brilliance and passion for purpose inspire me every day. ? My work wife, Amy Zganjar: Thank you for taking that huge leap with me and for always bringing your indefatigable optimism. ? These five incredible women—Marissa Trambley, Emily Winternitz, Rachael Walker, Liana Eckberg, Kelly Dunphy: Your confidence in me and commitment helped me navigate some of the toughest moments and gave me the courage to continue. Words can’t fully express my gratitude to this incredible support system. ?? As I look ahead to the next decade, one thing is certain: The Stott Group will continue to support leaders and organizations who bring purpose and dedication to all those they serve. I’d love to hear from other entrepreneurs—what opportunities and challenges have shaped your journey? Let’s celebrate the wins together. #Entrepreneurship #WomenInBusiness #Resilience #GrowthJourney #Reflections?#Entrepreneur
