    Big thanks to Ryan Floyd & Storm Ventures for organizing last night's founder dinner with us. We gathered seed and series A founders to share experiences and future visions, particularly around bridging UK-US business and investment opportunities. It was also a night were 2 generations of the SaaStock pitch competition, with Dublin 2023 winner and portfolio founder, Eoin Bara of Tipple sharing experiences with Dublin 2024's top finalists Nuria M. (Veriom) & Will Billingsley (ApTap). We were also joined by great founders of our co-investors and our own journey.     Yesterday, the Women in Product community at Walmart hosted an incredible panel on Generative AI innovations in retail. It was an absolute privilege to be part of such an engaging discussion on how GenAI is transforming industries—yes, all the way from outer space to storefronts! When AI becomes a product, retail becomes personal. We’re moving beyond guessing customer needs and instead delivering hyper-personalized experiences that often surprise and delight. Whether it’s AI-driven customization, agentic systems, design-your-own products, or immersive virtual stores, GenAI is making retail more intuitive, more human, and more exciting than ever before. I had the absolute pleasure of sharing the stage with Yana Routshtein and Natalia Burina, two incredible leaders who are pushing the boundaries of product, technology, and innovation. Our discussion on scaling and productizing GenAI—not just as a tool, but as a true driver of business impact—left me energized.     Welcome Manju Rajashekhar! ? Our newest EIR is a seasoned technology leader with a passion for entrepreneurship and building high-performing organizations. His expertise spans two-sided marketplaces, search, machine learning, deep learning, and large-scale distributed systems. During his eight years at Etsy, Manju led diverse organizations, impacting both buyer-facing product areas (Search, Ads, Recommendations) and platform teams (Personalization, ML Enablement, Experimentation). He was instrumental in driving financial outcomes and enhancing user experience. Manju co-founded and served as CTO of Blackbird AI, a search and deep learning company acquired by Etsy, whose technology became foundational to Etsy’s ML and search infrastructure. Previously, he was an early engineering team member at Twitter, where he led the development of caching systems during their rapid growth. His work on open-sourced systems like twemproxy and twemcache has become an industry standard. We're excited to have him at Storm!
