关于我们
Stop & Shop has been around for more than 100 years. We started small, as a corner grocery store back in 1914. And we’ve grown…a lot. We have more than 50,000 Associates in 350+ stores throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, and New Jersey. Through that change, our values have stayed the same. At Stop & Shop, we’ve made a commitment to making our stores better every day for our associates, our customers, and our communities. It’s our secret recipe for success. It guides everything we do from the products that stock our shelves to the way we manage our stores! It helps us put the customer first, do what’s right, win together, and make ideas happen.

Thank you for joining us in the American Cancer Society’s movement to end breast cancer. Our customers and associates came together to donate over $1 million at checkout in our stores in the month of October. 100% of the proceeds went to breast cancer research and supporting survivors. A big thank you to our dedicated associates who took time to walk and volunteer in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events to support survivors and their local communities!

We are proud to #feeditforward in New York where we presented a check for $100,000 to QARI in support of the expansion of their fresh food access program across five public schools located in Queens. This expansion is focused on helping families gain more access to fresh, healthy, and culturally responsive food. Stop & Shop’s donation will help fund QARI’s newly launched EV mobile food delivery van, the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables, and a full-time delivery ambassador who will teach families about community outreach programs and onsite SNAP services. QARI currently holds weekly distributions where they donate over 100 bags of fresh fruits and vegetables to students and families at five current Stop & Shop School Food Pantries across Queens.?

We’re #FeedingItForward in New York where we teamed up with Kellanova to donate $30,000 to support the Copiague School District’s in-school food pantry. The Eagles Nest Food Pantry at Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School meets the needs of the 4,600 students across the six schools in the Copiague School District. In addition to the monetary donation, Kellanova donated Nutri-Grain Bars as part of its Better Days Promise to the monthly food distribution held at the school that serves over 250 students and their families. Stop & Shop associates and Kellanova representatives, including Snap, Crackle, and Pop volunteered at the distribution by unloading and giving out healthy food to students and their families!?

Happy Halloween! We got into the spooky spirit by joining the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket for their Halloween Party! Stop & Shop donated candy, snacks, and water to create 500 goodie bags. We also donated 150 pumpkins that were painted by volunteers and offered to kids in attendance. Our associates also enjoyed decking out a room in the club with festive decorations and cut-out standups for photo ops. We also had strolling characters including Bluey, Olaf, and a pirate who doubled as a balloon artist! We absolutely loved bringing some Halloween magic to the kids at the club! ?? ???

What an exciting time kicking off the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford’s Stop & Shop Kids Cooking Club with a “Top Chef” inspired cooking competition! Four teams of BGCH youth – each assisted by one Stop & Shop associate “Sous Chef”?- created recipes from the Stop & Shop Kids Cooking Club curriculum. The kids had a blast learning to cook and being creative in the kitchen before presenting their signature dishes to a panel of celebrity judges - Sarah Cody, Alex P. Taylor, Bryce Hardy. The winning team received Stop & Shop gift cards and a plaque, and all participants received plush Stop & Shop Marty the Robot toys, as well as other Stop & Shop swag! We were also proud to present a check for $50,000 to the club to support their ongoing commitment to providing food and nutrition education to BGHC members ranging in age from 6-18. #FeeditForward #Connecticut #KidsCookingClub #Nutrition
