    The worst feeling in a poor marketer's heart is the thought of people going to their website or social media platform page and getting that sinking dread. You already know what they'll find there and... Girl. She a mess. Often on our own marketing journey here at Stoned Fruit HQ, the (peach) cobbler's children had no shoes. Why? Because it can get overwhelming. Like, super overwhelming. Marketing be like: all of the things all of the time. Especially when you're juggling all of the otehr things all of the time. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. We've learned that the art of the start is often in just taking one marketing asset at a time. Today, this LinkedIn Profile, tomorrow, a revamped something else. If you cringe anytime you see that "You're getting noticed" email from LinkedIn, maybe it's time to take a bite out of that elephant. Dropping resources to DIY in the comments. PS If you're spinning out trying to keep everything organized, aligned, and effective, youa re not alone. To this day, our humble website site hangs precariously in the balance between what Rebecca Gunter ?? could figure out for herself in Kajabi and the Wordpress beauty Athena Harper is building. We haven't posted on Insta in a year. Our own email marketing can be hot or cold. It happens to the best of us. All you can do is either 1) find a partner to help you git 'er done or 2) find some time to take a single bite of the elephant, whenever you can.

    I get some hilarious pitches to The Heads Together Podcast. I mean, at least give me a sign that you've listened to an episode before! Honestly, I've even had pitches where the person who'd like to come on as my guest has cut and pasted, leaving someone else's podcast name in the email. I felt so special. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect my guests to have binged all 130 episodes of the show before pitching, but a hint that they know something about me would be nice. In this weeks episodes I'm shaing my take on what a good pitch looks like, so if guest podcasting forms a part of your marketing strategy, then this one's for you.
